Summoning

You call forth the spirit of an ooze. You can choose the appearance of the slime when you cast the spell. It manifests in an unoccupied space that you can see within range and uses the Slime Spirit stat block. The creature disappears when it drops to 0 Hit Points or when the spell ends.

The creature is an ally to you and your allies. In combat, the creature shares your Initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any, it takes the Dodge action and uses its movement to avoid danger.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. Use the spell slot’s level for the spell’s level in the stat block.

Amorphous. The spirit can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Corrosive Form. A creature that touches the spirit or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 1d8 Acid damage.

Regeneration. The spirit regains 5 HP at the start of its turn.

Spider Climb. The spirit can climb difficult surfaces, including along ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Actions

Multiattack. The spirit makes a number of Pseudopod attacks equal to half this spell’s level (round down).
