Call of the Devouring Shadows

Description:
The caster summons entities from the Shadow Plane, which lash out at living beings, draining their life force.

Effects & Details:

• Each creature within a 20-foot radius of the target point must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 16).
• On a failure, a creature takes 6d8 necrotic damage and is weakened for 1 minute.
• A creature killed by this spell leaves behind a Shadow (CR 1/2 undead) under the caster’s control for 1 hour before it dissipates.
