The spellcaster is able to etch a magical mark on any object living or non-living. The mark effectively becomes invisible after 1d10 rounds, after which others may only find it with a successful DC 10 Arcana check. Wizards are able to notice the mark and should be allowed a Perception check when within 10ft of a Wizard Mark and have Advantage for determining what it is.

The mark itself is graphical in nature. For some guilds, they may create meaning around symbologies but for most uses they convey messaging of no more than two words such as "Not here", "This way", or "Danger below", etc.

The wizard mark is permanent until disabled with spells such as Dispel Magic or willfully dispelled by the original caster.
