A spectral red chain tethers you and a foe within range, clasping around your souls with an iron grip.

A creature you can see within range makes a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes damage as you take damage for up to a minute. On a successful save, the spell is redundant.

The spell ends when you are dropped below a quarter of your Hit Point Maximum.
