You project your voice to a point within range, making it sound as though the voice originates from that spot rather than from you. For the duration, whenever you speak or make any vocal noise, the sound emanates from the chosen point. You control the voice’s volume from a whisper to a shout, and you can speak in any language you know. Additionally, you can mimic simple phases you have heard before made by another creature in a known language. The illusion is purely auditory.
If a creature takes a Study action to examine the sound, the creature can determine that it is an illusion with a successful Wisdom (Insight) check against your spell save DC. If a creature discerns the illusion what it is, the sound goes embarrassingly off pitch and can determine that you are the true source of the speech.
The spell’s effect ends early if you cast Ventriloquist’s Trick again or if you dismiss the effect as an action.
