The Maw belts out a guttural, resonant phrase in the Mawthralic-tongue, before its massive tongue lashes out with terrifying speed, wrapping around its target like a serpent before yanking it toward its abyssal mouth.

Effect:
You extend the Maw’s tongue toward a target within range. The target must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be pulled up to 25 feet directly towards you.

• Creatures: If the target is unwilling, it must be no more than one size larger than you. On a successful save, the target resists the pull, but suffers disadvantage on its next Strength check or saving throw before the end of your next turn.
  
• Objects: You can pull unattended objects that weigh no more than 300 pounds, as long as grabbing them wouldn’t cause harm to the tongue (such as hot irons or sharp edges)
  
  At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you can increase the pull distance by 10 feet for each slot level above 2nd.
  
  Overfeed Enhancement: spend 1 Overfeed Point, to keep a hold of your target. Doing this makes the tongue grasp and restrain (see the condition) your target for 1 minute, this requires concentration and also disables the ability to do reactions and any sort of actions, except for basic movement the creature also gains a disadvantage on all attempts to escape your grasp, the carried creature moves around with you.
