You summon a spectral chain of necrotic energy that binds your spirit to that of a creature you can see within 60ft.
While bound to the other creature you take half damage from all sources, the other half being dealt to the target as necrotic damage. If your concentration is broken by an attack the other creature still takes damage before the spell is ended.
You may also cast touch spells on the creature from any range (so long as they are on the same plane of existence) until the spell's effect has ended.
