You weave together wind to create swords of swirling air in one or both of your hands. These magic swords last until the spell ends or you throw them. They count as simple melee weapons with which you are proficient. They deal 1d8 slashing damage on a hit and have the finesse, light, and thrown properties (range 20/60).
If you drop the weapons or throw them, they dissipate after the attack is done. Thereafter, while the spell persists, you can use a bonus action to create more swords in your hands.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 2nd- or 3rd-level spell slot, the damage increases to 2d8. When you cast it using a 4th- or 5th-level spell slot, the damage increases to 3d8. When you cast it using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage increases to 4d8.
