You conjure an ethereal book bound in shifting runes, floating beside you. For the spell’s duration, the book automatically records every action taken by creatures within a 30-foot radius around you, noting precise details such as identity and intent.
At any point during the spell’s duration, you can use your reaction to strike a recorded action from the chronicle, erasing its existence from the book and removing all of the immediate effects of the action. Both you and the creature who performed the erased action take 1d12 psychic damage as reality resists alteration. If you erase an action you personally took, the psychic damage stacks, causing you to take 2d12 psychic damage instead.
When the spell ends, the chronicle fades into nothingness, leaving behind no physical trace of its existence.
