Arcane Spear

You evoke a spear made of purple energy and throw it, piercing through anything in its path. Select a direction for the spear to travel in a line 30 feet long by 5 feet wide. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, it takes 6d8 force damage, or half as much damage on a successful one.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
