Animate Dead (Warlock)

You create a temporary undead servant from a pile of bones or a corpse of a Small or Medium humanoid within range. The target becomes either a skeleton or zombie (your choice) that acts immediately on your turn.

• You can control only one undead at a time with this spell.

• The creature lasts for 1 hour or until reduced to 0 HP.

• It acts on your turn and follows your verbal commands (no action required).

• Once you cast this spell, you can’t cast it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot to do so.

At Higher Levels:
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you can animate one additional undead per level above 3rd, but the total number you control with this spell is still capped at 2.
