You tap into the deepest forces of time and space, using the Luxon Beacon as a conduit to open multiple permanent gateways to the Feywild. The fabric of reality itself is bent as time and space intertwine in ways few can comprehend.
Upon casting this spell, you create up to three permanent Feywild portals. These portals appear in locations you are familiar with within a 1-mile radius of your casting position, though they must be places of natural or magical significance. The gates are connected to various locations in the Feywild, each one representing a different aspect of that wild realm—such as the glittering, radiant courts of the Seelie or the dark, chaotic wilds of the Unseelie.
-
Gateway Effects:
Each portal functions as a permanent Plane Shift connection to the Feywild. Creatures that pass through the portal can travel freely between your plane and the Feywild. Once a creature steps through, the portal closes for 1 minute, but can be reopened once the cooldown expires.-
The Luxon Beacon imbues the gates with a protective aura that prevents unwanted creatures from entering, such as fiends or undead. Only those attuned to the beacon or those granted permission by the caster may use the gates freely.
-
The portals are not entirely stable and sometimes may flicker unpredictably (once every month or when the moon is full), allowing other creatures or forces from the Feywild to emerge for brief moments.
-
-
Chronomantic Connection:
The act of weaving time into these gateways causes a subtle yet profound connection between you and the flow of time in the Feywild.-
Once the spell is cast, you gain Chronal Insight, which allows you to perceive brief glimpses of future or past events relating to the Feywild. You may ask the DM up to 3 questions (which can span any period of time in the Feywild) each day, and the DM will give vague but accurate answers.
-
You can also temporarily slow down time (as per the Time Stop spell) once per day within a 100-foot radius of one of the gates, bending time to escape danger or manipulate the environment.
-
-
Feywild Effects:
Over time, the permanent Feywild gates begin to subtly influence the surrounding area. Within a 500-foot radius of any gate, the environment begins to shift in line with the characteristics of the Feywild:-
Feywild Flora and Fauna: Overgrown wildflowers and magical creatures, like fey spiders or spectral animals, may appear near the gate, often acting as guardians or protectors.
-
Time Distortion: The flow of time becomes erratic near the gates. Sometimes, hours may feel like minutes, or a moment can stretch for what seems like days. The Time Sense of creatures near the gate may be altered, affecting the passage of time within the radius of the gate.
-
-
Luxon Beacon Interference:
While the spell creates stable portals to the Feywild, the Luxon Beacon must remain in proximity to the gateways to ensure they stay open. If the beacon is moved to a different plane from any gate or destroyed, the portals will destabilize and collapse within 1d12 hours, causing all creatures inside the portals to be forcibly ejected back into their respective planes. The caster may restore the portals by channeling the Luxon Beacon’s power once again (requiring an hour-long ritual).
