Black Flash is a phenomenon where an energy-infused strike lands within an incredibly precise window—just 0.000001 seconds after the energy is applied. This perfect synchronization creates a brief spatial distortion, dramatically increasing the force of the attack, often by more than double. It’s extremely difficult to perform intentionally, but those who manage it can enter a heightened state of focus and power.
To use, roll a d20. If the number that appears on the dice is greater than ten, (not including to-hit bonus), then your unarmed strike deals 2d8 extra damage. Must be applied before attack. If the number that appears is lower than ten, you fail the black flash. Exceptions include natural twenties (add charisma bonus) and natural ones (roll 1d6 for damage taken)
