Effect: You summon the unbridled fury of summer, calling down a 60-foot-radius storm of heat, lightning, and wild growth at a point you can see within range. The area becomes difficult terrain as vines and flowers explosively grow, and the area is heavily obscured by steam, pollen, and intense light. When you cast the spell and as an action on each of your turns until the spell ends, you can trigger one of the following effects within the area:
- Heat Wave: Hot winds sweep through the area. Each creature must make a Constitution saving throw, DC 12. On a failed save, a creature takes 6d6 fire damage and suffers one level of exhaustion. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and doesn't gain exhaustion.
- Lightning Strike: A bolt of green-gold lightning strikes a point you can see in the area. Each creature within 20 feet of that point must make a Dexterity saving throw, DC13. On a failed save, a creature takes 6d8 lightning damage and is stunned until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and isn't stunned.
- Fey Growth: Thorny vines with beautiful but dangerous flowers erupt from the ground. Each creature of your choice in the area must make a Strength saving throw, DC10. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d10 piercing damage and is restrained. A restrained creature can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC to break free.
The storm is so intense that it disrupts concentration. Any creature that attempts to maintain concentration on a spell while in the area must make their concentration check with disadvantage.
