Acidic Touch

Acid drips from your fingers. Make a melee spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 acid damage. If you successfully hit with this attack on consecutive turns, the target takes 1d10 acid damage instead.

This spell’s damage increases when you reach certain levels. At 5th level, the first attack deals an extra1d8 acid damage to the target on a hit, and the consecutive attacks deal an extra 1d10 acid damage. The damage rolls increase again at 11th level (3d8 and 3d10) and again at 17th level (4d8 and 4d10).
