You release a forbidden phrase from beyond comprehension, flooding the minds of creatures in a 30-foot cube with unbearable pressure. Each creature in the area must make a Wisdom saving throw.

On a failed save, a creature takes 4d8 psychic damage and is frightened of you until the end of its next turn.
On a successful save, it takes half damage and is not frightened.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
