You begin an elaborate incantation of verbal and somatic components, tracing illusory arcane sigils in the air to resemble the casting of a spell from the Wizard spell list that requires both verbal and somatic components, and has a casting time of one action. The spell has no other effect beyond the illusory verbal and somatic casting, and cannot create the illusion of the spell effect itself.
If another creature attempts to use a reaction in response to this effect (such as Counterspell), they must first make an Intelligence (Arcana) or Wisdom (Insight) check, contested by your spell save DC. Creatures with true sight or abilities such as Unerring Eye are not affected.
On a success, they are aware of the bluff, and can decide to instead keep their reaction. On a failure, they must use their reaction as originally intended.
In either outcome, the creature becomes immune to the effect of this cantrip for 24 hours.
