Aether Blast

You choose a point or object within sight and a trigger. When the trigger occurs, a blast of pure aether emanates from the point in a 15 foot sphere. All creatures in the sphere must succeed on a DC 16 Dex save, taking 6d6 force damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful one. On a failed save, the creature also falls prone if it is medium or smaller. If the blast has not triggered within 1 minute of casting, it will detonate regardless of any nearby creatures or other events.
