You launch forth a blast of pure sorrow, and instill in the target the feeling that their actions in the end will be for nothing. The creature you blast with said takes necrotic damage equal to your spellcasting modifier. And said target becomes disheartened and has a -1 penalty to their next wisdom save they make against an effect you or your allies cause. Alternatively you can cause a -1 to the targets next Intelligence save they make against an effect you or your allies cause.
This effect last until the -1 penalty has been applied to either the targets next wisdom or intelligence save. or you start your next turn.
at level 5-10 the penalty becomes a -2, and the damage increases by 2. at level 11-16 the penalty becomes -3, and the damage increases by 4. at level 17-20 the penalty becomes -4, and the damage increases by 6
