You call forth a foul spirit to possess a colossal undead form. It manifests in an unoccupied space that you can see within range. This creature uses the Undead Colossus stat block. When you cast the spell, choose a colossus type: Titan, Abomination, or Legion. The creature's colossus type determines some of the traits in its stat block. The creature collapses, destroyed, when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.
The creature is an ally to you and your companions. In combat, the creature shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any, it acts aggressively towards the nearest creature.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level, use that level wherever it is used in the statblock.

Colossal Form (Titan and Abomination Only). Medium or smaller creatures can move through the colossus's space while it’s not prone. Any creature under the colossus when it falls prone is grappled (escape DC equal to your spell save DC). Until the grapple ends, the creature is prone and restrained.
Swarm (Legion Only). The colossus can enter a hostile creature's space and stop there. Once inside its space, a creature can move out of it as though it were difficult terrain.
Abhorrent Form (Abomination Only). Each creature of your choice that starts its turn within 30 feet of the colossus must make a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature frightened this way can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a successful save. A creature that succeeds on a saving throw against the colossus's Abhorrent Form is immune to it for 24 hours.
Wretched Speed (Abomination Only). If the colossus takes 50 or more damage in a single turn, its walking and climbing speeds increase by 20 feet and it can make an additional attack with its Multiattack until the end of its next turn.
Actions
Multiattack. The colossus makes four attacks from those below.
Rend. Melee Weapon Attack: your spell attack modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d10 + 7 + the spell’s level slashing damage.
Hurl. Ranged Weapon Attack: your spell attack modifier to hit, range 30/80 ft., one target. Hit: 1d8 + 7 + the spell's level bludgeoning or piercing damage.
Crushing Blow. (Titan Only). Melee Weapon Attack: your spell attack modifier to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 2d8 + 7 + the spell's level bludgeoning damage.
Vile Spit (Abomination Only). Ranged Weapon Attack: your spell attack modifier to hit, range 60/240 ft., one target. Hit: 1d12 + 7 + the spell's level necrotic damage.
Thousandfold Embrace (Legion Only). Melee Weapon Attack: your spell attack modifier to hit, reach 5 feet, one target. Hit: The target is pulled 5 feet towards the center of the colossus's space and is grappled (escape DC equal to your spell save DC). As long as the target is grappled, it is also restrained.
Reactions
Undead Fortitude (1/Day). In response to damage reducing the colossus to 0 hit points, it drops to 1 hit point instead unless it is radiant damage or from a critical hit.
