A powerful wall of wind surges up from the ground at a point you choose within range. The wall can stretch up to 50 feet long, stand 15 feet high, and be 1 foot thick. You can shape it however you like, as long as it forms one unbroken line along the ground. The wall remains in place for the spell’s duration.

When it appears, any creature within its space must succeed on a Strength saving throw or take 3d8 bludgeoning damage—half as much on a successful save.

The wind creates a formidable barrier: it disperses fog, smoke, and gases; blocks flying creatures and objects of Small size or smaller; and sends light, loose materials swirling upward. Ordinary projectiles like arrows and bolts fired through the wall are deflected and automatically miss their targets. However, larger ammunition—such as boulders from giants or siege engines—is unaffected. Creatures in gaseous form are also unable to pass through the wall.
