A spray of corrosive liquids loose from your hand. Creatures in a 15-foot Cone originating from you must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the creatures take 4d6 acid damage and their armor classes are reduced by 2 for 1 minute. On a success, they take half damage and their armor classes aren't reduced.
Additionally, this spell automatically removes the bonus to armor class granted by the Shield spell on all creatures who take damage from it. If a creature wielding a nonmagical shield has their armor class reduced by this spell, their shield is destroyed. If a creature wearing nonmagical armor has their armor class reduced by this spell, the effect is permanent until they spend an hour and half the armor's cost in materials to repair their armor. Alternatively, the Mending spell could be used in lieu of the materials needed for repair.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, roll an additional 2d6 and their armor class is reduced by 1 more on a failure for each slot level above 2nd.
