You channel intense heat into a searing blast targeting a creature within range. The target takes 1d6 + your spellcasting modifier fire damage.

If the target is a non-construct creature wearing metal armor, the heat lingers in the metal. The creature automatically takes an additional 1d8 fire damage at the start of its next turn as the armor burns against their skin. This effect does not require concentration.

This spell has no effect on constructs.
