• The area is difficult terrain for hostile creatures.

• When a hostile creature enters the area for the first time on a turn or ends its turn there, it takes 1d4 poison damage (no saving throw).

• Allies ignore the terrain and take no damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.
