Whispering Toads

You summon spectral toads that appear on the shoulders of up to three creatures of your choice within range. These toads whisper cryptic riddles, lies, and maddening croaks into the targets’ ears.

Each target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or take 2d6 psychic damage and suffer disadvantage on Wisdom (Insight) and Wisdom (Perception) checks for the duration.

At the end of each affected creature’s turn, it may repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on a success.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the psychic damage increases by 2d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
