You conjure a 5-foot-diameter sphere of arcane energy around yourself and propel it in a straight line up to 60 feet long and 5 feet wide toward a space of your choice within range. Each creature in the line must make a Strength saving throw. A creature takes 2d8 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Each creature within 5 feet of the sphere's path must make a Strength saving throw or be pulled up to 5 feet into the line made by the sphere as torrential force drags the creature in its wake. Any creature that collides with a Small or larger object by entering the same space, including another creature, takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
When the sphere reaches the target location, it implodes, causing all creatures within 10 feet to make a Strength saving throw or be dragged into the vortex, suffering 3d8 force damage and pulled 5 feet toward the sphere and knocked prone, or half as much damage on a successful one and not pulled. A Huge or larger creature succeeds on the saving throw automatically. If more than one creature occupies the same spot, they are immediately shunted to the nearest unoccupied space that they can occupy and take bludgeoning damage equal to twice the number of feet they are moved.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, both force damage rolls increase by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
