Aura of Thorns

You summon an aura of spectral thorns which surround you. 

Any enemy that comes in range (10') must roll a Dexterity saving throw.  On a failure they receive 2d8 Piercing damage.  

If cast by a Level 6 or higher Paladin the aura's range can expand with their Aura of Protection.

At higher levels.  For every additional spell level the damage increases by 1d8.
