You assert your unquestionable authority with an overconfident flick of the wrist and a speech that begins with “Listen up, morons!” Choose up to three creatures of your choice within range who can hear you and have an Intelligence score of 10 or lower. Each must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become Charmed by you for the duration.
While charmed in this way, affected creatures:
-
Believe you are a tactical genius, a master planner, and quite possibly royalty.
-
Will follow your spoken instructions to the best of their ability, provided the task isn’t blatantly harmful or contradictory (they may argue if told to fight a dragon with a broom, but they might try if you tell them it’s a “training dragon”).
-
Have disadvantage on Insight checks and a strong desire to agree with everything you say.
-
Will defend you in conversation or combat with the sincerity of a toddler defending their imaginary friend.
If a creature is attacked by you or your allies, or if they witness you doing something obviously idiotic (DM’s discretion), they can make another Wisdom saving throw at the end of their turn to end the effect.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the maximum Intelligence score of affected creatures increases by 1 for each slot level above 4th (so 11 at 5th, 12 at 6th, etc.).
