You create a 45-foot-radius (120 feet height) cylinder (must be vertically oriented) of green, polluted smog centered on the oil or coal being absorbed in the spell. The cloud spreads around corners, and its area is lightly obscured. The cloud lingers in the air for the duration.
Each creature that is completely within the cloud at the start of its turn must make a Constitution saving throw against poison. On a failed save, the creature spends its action that turn reeling and coughing (plus take 3d4 poison damage). Creatures that don't need to breathe are immune to poison automatically and automatically succeed on this saving throw.
If the creature has a sight of 15 feet or greater and begin there turn in the smog they must make a constitution saving throw (separate from the save in the paragraph above) or become blind for the rest of their turn.
A moderate wind (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses the cloud after 10 rounds. A strong wind (at least 20 miles per hour) disperses it after 2 round.
The Smog is not magical so once it is cast no dispel magic spell or any other spell can remove it. However, a spell producing gusts of wind can dispel it
