Many Spells call for rare and difficult to acquire components. By means of this spell the caster can transform one valuable mineral or metal into another.
(Mineral into a mineral, Metal into a Metal.)
This Transformation is permanent . Unless this spell is cast again.
During the casting a small amount of material is lost. (10% total value)
Examples of this spells use. You could transform a 1000 GP Ruby into a 900 GP Diamond or 200 GP of lead into 180 GP of Gold.
During the casting the caster must remain in contact with the material to be transformed. Because the difficulty and Strain the spell has on the caster it can only be cast once every 30 days.
For every additional level of spell slot used an additional value of 1000GP can be transformed.
