You take aim with a ranged weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a ranged attack with it against one creature within the weapon's range. The attack's damage die becomes a d6. If the attack deals damage, it can be Radiant, Necrotic, Lightning or Fire damage (your choice).
Cantrip Upgrade. The damage increases to 2d6 at 5th level, 3d6 at 11th level and to 4d6 at 17th level.
