I have no idea how or why a spell like this doesn't exist for Paladin officially, nor why nobody has managed to make a reasonable version of this spell using the 2024 rules. It exists for Paladin-like characters in other games, so why not D&D? So I made it. Here's the 100% accurate to the 2024 rules "Healing Smite".
At 2nd Level this thing will heal for an average of 5 Hit Points or 8-9 if the person being healed has the new "Bloodied" status, which means they're below half Health and really need some healing. So, obviously, it's not game-breaking. But the point is that the healing is just a bonus to the extra damage, which can be doubled on a crit or against something vulnerable to Radiant damage, and for that bonus to become better when you really really need it.
I hope you try it out and enjoy it.
