Conversational Nature (TTG)

Select a number of Beasts equal to your Spellcasting Modifier or a single Plant of at least Small size within 30 feet of you, after at least 1 minute of ritual "conversation", using the gem as a vocal medium, you have the ability to communicate with those Beasts or that Plant, and they with you for ten minutes. Beasts may even follow simple commands if they decide you are a friend.

Beasts. For the Beasts, you can use any of the Influence action’s skill options with them. Most Beasts have little to say about topics that don’t pertain to survival or companionship, but at minimum, a Beast can give you information about nearby locations and monsters, including whatever it has perceived within the past day.

Flora or Fungi. You can question the Plant about events in the spell's area (30ft) within the past day, gaining information about creatures that have passed, weather, and other circumstances; though it may lack context given it's newfound observation skills. On some occasions, the DM may decide you've found an Awakened Plant, and the conversation with them could be fruitful indeed!
