When someone, other than you sets up a "deez nuts" joke, you may reply with the trigger phrase "deez nuts". The individual who set up the delivery of the trigger phrase, must make a wisdom saving throw or take 1d6 psychic damage and reduce their intelligence score by 1 for 1 minute.
You may incite a setup, but you cannot set up the joke. For example, if you were to say "Mind goblin" a different creature must trigger the setup by completing it with "What's is a mind goblin?" for the trigger to be valid.
If you trigger your own setup to the deez nuts, you suffer the effects of this spell.
On a successful save an affected creature takes half the damage only.
Cantrip Upgrade. The damage increases by 1d6 when you reach levels 5 (2d6), 11 (3d6), and 17 (4d6). Additionally an affected creature's intelligence score is reduced more at levels; 5 (2 points), 11 (3 points), and 17 (4 points).
