You attempt to forcibly seal a creature into a container, trapping it indefinitely. Choose one creature that you can see within range. That creature must succeed on a Charisma saving throw or be drawn into the container. On a failed save, the creature is pulled into the container and is considered restrained, unconscious, and incapacitated. While sealed, the creature does not age, breathe, or require sustenance, and is unaware of the passage of time.
On a successful save, the creature resists the containment, and the spell fails. When this happens, you take 4d6 necrotic damage, and for the next 1 minute, you have disadvantage on Constitution saving throws. This disadvantage ends early if you complete a short or long rest. If you fail to seal a creature using this spell three times, you gain one level of exhaustion due to the immense strain on your body and spirit.
Once a creature is sealed, the container can be opened by repeating the save on subsequent saves, if they fail the save 3 rounds in a row they cannot be released by mundane means. A dispel magic (cast at the level used to cast this spell or higher), casting the knock spell or disintegrate spell also can release the creature, or wish spell can release the creature. If the container is destroyed, the creature reappears in the space it last occupied, or the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied. If this spell is casted at 9th level you can give disadvantage and nullify an advantage on this spell if the creature has any kind of advantage or resistance against this spell.
