You conjure a soft, swirling fog, thick like soap bubbles and dancing with rainbow refraction, in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on a point within range. The fog behaves like Fog Cloud—heavily obscuring the area—but you can manipulate its shape like a magical canvas.
While concentrating on the spell, as a bonus action on your turn, you may reshape the fog by pushing it or sculpting it:
-
Move it up to 10 feet in any direction
-
Form one distinct image, outline, or symbol within it (up to 10 ft across)—examples: a floating eye, a bird, a sword, a spiral
-
The image lasts for 1 round or until changed again
-
You may make one Deception, Intimidation, or Performance check as part of this bonus action if using the fog image to confuse or influence creatures who can see it
-
Special Traits
-
Bubbled Edges. The fog appears as delicate spheres of shimmering moisture; creatures moving through it must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity save or briefly stumble (movement halved that turn)
-
Inkweavers' Trick (Optional). If you cast this spell using a focus dipped in spirit ink, the fog becomes partially magical—displacing magical sensors and granting disadvantage on Divination spells that target creatures inside the cloud
