You call forth a fragment of forgotten pain from your target’s own mind—a memory too traumatic or sorrowful to bear—and bring it surging to the surface. The target is forced to relive the most painful moment they’ve ever forgotten (or suppressed)
Effects:
Choose one creature within range that can understand a language and has an Intelligence of 6 or higher. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = your cleric spell save DC).
On a failed save:
The creature is stunned until the end of its next turn, overwhelmed by the memory.
On subsequent turns (while you maintain concentration), the target has disadvantage on ability checks and saving throws and cannot take reactions.
The target takes 1d6 psychic damage at the start of each of its turns as the memory sears their mind.
On a successful save:
The target is unaffected, but you sense the nature of the forgotten memory—gain a one-sentence impression of what it was (DM’s discretion).
At Higher Levels:
When cast using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher:
The initial stun duration is extended to 1 round per spell level above 2nd (e.g., 2 rounds at 3rd level).
Psychic damage increases by 1d6 per slot level above 2nd.
Flavor:
When cast, ghostly heather blossoms bloom and crumble around the target’s head.
