Make a melee or ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 damage of type specified below.
This spell's damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 5th level (2d10), 11th level (3d10), and 17th level (4d10).
For wizards, this attack will deal magic damage based off the school of magic you have devoted yourself to. For sorcerers and all other classes, you may choose a damage type when you acquire this spell that is fitting to your class, background, and use of arcana. The DM may decide if a damage type is fitting. The damage type may change at the DM's discretion upon leveling up.
