Chocolate-Covered Goodberry is a flavorful twist on the classic Goodberry spell, infusing each berry with rich, magical chocolate for added charm and utility. When cast, up to ten berries appear in your hand, each coated in a thin layer of rich, magical chocolate. A creature can use its bonus action to eat one berry, which:
-
Restores 1 hit point.
-
Provides nourishment—enough to sustain its consumer for one day.
-
Grants a minor morale boost: For the next hour, the creature has advantage on Charisma checks made to interact pleasantly with others (e.g., persuasion, performance when treating someone kindly).
You can’t benefit from more than 10 hit points of healing or more than one day’s worth of nourishment by eating multiple berries in a 24-hour period. Any uneaten berries vanish after 24 hours.
At Higher Levels.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you create an additional berry for each slot level above 1st.
The berries lose their potency if they have not been consumed within 24 hours of the casting of this spell.
