Dark red smoke wreathes your body until the spell ends. Your eyes give off the same smoke for the duration.

Until the spell ends, whenever a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with an attack, the smoke lashes out at that creature, dealing 2d6 necrotic damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
