Description: You invoke the twisted forces of forbidden necromancy, enhancing an undead creature’s form and abilities, though at the cost of strange and unpredictable alterations to its body. This spell always has a positive effect on the undead, but causes erratic changes to the creature’s form. The target undead creature gains the following benefits for the duration of the spell

:Distorted Resilience: The undead creature gains temporary hit points equal to half its maximum HP at the start of each of its turns (rounded down). At the end of its turn, the creature gains advantage on its next saving throw to resist any effects that would incapacitate or weaken it.

Enhanced Strike: The undead creature’s attacks are bolstered. Its melee attacks deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage, and it gains advantage on attack rolls against creatures that are frightened or frightened by the creature's presence. Regenerative Decay: The undead creature regenerates 1d6 hit points at the start of its turn. If the creature is reduced to 0 HP, it instead stabilizes and becomes unconscious, but still retains half its maximum HP when it regains consciousness after the spell ends.

Rotting Limb: One of the creature's limbs begins to decay and rot, reducing its physical capabilities. The affected limb becomes unusable until the next turn, dealing 2d6 acid damage to anyone who comes in contact with it. However, the decaying limb grants the undead creature advantage on saving throws against being grappled or restrained for the duration of the spell.

Zombie Overload (Optional): The creature’s body becomes overloaded with necrotic energy. It gains the ability to unleash a burst of necrotic energy once during the spell’s duration. As a bonus action, it can deal 3d6 necrotic damage to all creatures within 10 feet of it (including allies), but can only use this ability once. If used, the creature takes 1d6 necrotic damage itself.

---At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the temporary hit points granted by Distorted Resilience increase by 5 per level above 4th.
