Chrono Lash

You crack a lash of temporal force at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit:

The target takes 2d8 force damage.

Its movement speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of your next turn as time around it slows and fractures.

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of:

3rd Level: The movement reduction becomes 20 feet.

5th Level or Higher: The target’s speed is reduced to 0 feet until the end of your next turn. They also can’t take the Dash or Disengage actions during that time.

The spell's damage increases by 1d8 for every two slot levels above 1st (i.e., 3rd, 5th, 7th, etc.).
