The Caster can now take a dead creature's soul; if they are superior in strength, they are given "3 tries".
If they succeed, they'll be able to summon a Shadow Soul of the dead creature to fight at the Caster's side and hide within the Caster's shadow.

The fallen creature's soul must make a CON Saving for each attempt the caster tries.
After 3 unsuccessful rolls, the soul of the creature can't be captured.
On a single success, the soul of the creature is extracted and turned into a Shadow Soul and added to the Caster's army to be summoned.

The summoning word is (a word of the Caster's choice).
The Caster can summon and dismiss all their Shadow Souls at will.

These Shadow Souls retain the statblocks of the living creatures they came from.
They can be buffed and re-armored while out of combat.
This costs the Caster 10 HP for every change.
AC can exceed the caster's with this.
HP can't be higher than the Caster's max HP.

While fighting, the Shadow Soul can heal 10% every round in exchange for a 5th of the Caster's HP "life energy".
If the Shadow Soul falls "dies", it is destroyed and can't be resummoned.

If the Caster wishes, they can release a Shadow Soul to make room for another.

The Caster can only have three times the Shadow Souls as their Character Level.

Some of HP of the Shadow Souls can be recovered once out of Battle for 15% of the Caster's HP, or after a short rest.
All HP
of the Shadow Souls are recovered once out of Battle for 20% of the Caster's HP, or after a long rest.
