The caster sprays miniscule fragments of garnet at enemies in a 30 foot cone. All creatures in that area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw, with advantage if wearing full body covering armour. On a failure, the creature takes 9d6 slashing damage and is blinded. While blinded in this way, the creature rolls a Constitution saving throw at the start of each turn. On a successful save it is no longer blind.

At higher levels.

For each level of spell slot above 4 used to cast the spell, the slashing damage increases by 1d6. When cast with a level 5 or above spell slot the creature suffers a permanent disadvantage on perception checks and its passive perception decreases by 3.
