Each creature within your choice of a 15-foot cone or 30-foot long, 5 foot wide line originating from you must make a strength saving throw. On a failure, they take 4d6 bludgeoning damage, are restrained, and are coated in abberant liquid. On a success, they instead only take half damage. All objects not being worn or carried and surfaces in the area are also coated.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot: The bludgeoning damage increases by 1d6 for each spell slot level above 3rd. In addition, at certain levels the area of effect increases in size: at fifth level it becomes a 30-foot cone or 60-foot long, 5-foot line; at seventh level it becomes a 60-foot cone or a 90-foot long, 5-foot wide line; and at ninth level a 90-foot cone or 120-foot long, 10-foot wide line.
* - (A bottle of Abberant Liquid worth at least 50 GP, which the spell consumes)
