You peer through the veil of time and view the memories of a particular creature that is on the same plane of existence as you. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw, which is modified by how well you know the target and the sort of physical connection you have to it as depicted in the table below. If a target knows you’re casting this spell, it can fail the saving throw voluntarily if it wants to be observed. You may also cast this spell on yourself.

On a successful save, the target isn’t affected, and you can’t use this spell against it again for 24 hours.
On a failed save, the spell is able to recall the memory of your choice and displays it within the focus for the spell. You can see and hear through the focus as if you were there. The focus displays 5 minutes prior to the named memory and 5 minutes after the named memory. If the memory is longer than 10 minutes, the display will be cut at the end of the 10 minute duration.
