You target a creature with blood that you can see within range, attempting to magically thin their blood. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target is afflicted with the Curse of the Bloodless for the duration.

While under this curse, the target suffers the following effects:

The target has disadvantage on Strength checks and Strength-based attack rolls

The target’s speed is reduced by 10 feet

The target gains one level of exhaustion when the spell ends (this level of exhaustion can’t be removed until the target completes a long rest)

A creature without blood is immune to this spell.

Blood Sacrifice. When casting this spell, you take 3d4 damage as your own blood thins in sympathy with the target.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 3rd.

The Curse of the Bloodless This blood curse dramatically thins the victim’s blood, leaving them weak, pale, and easily fatigued. The victim’s organs receive insufficient oxygen, causing shortness of breath and lightheadedness with even minor exertion. Victims suffer disadvantage on Strength checks and Strength-based attack rolls, reduced speed, and potentially exhaustion. The curse persists until removed by a remove curse spell or similar magic.
