You draw vitality from one creature to heal another. Choose a creature with blood that you can see within range to be the donor. The donor must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the donor takes 4d8 necrotic damage, and you can choose another creature within range (including yourself) to receive healing equal to the damage dealt. You also obtain 1 portion of target’s blood.
On a successful save, the donor takes half as much damage, and the healing is also halved.
If the donor is willing, it automatically fails the saving throw.
Blood Sacrifice. When casting this spell, you take 3d4 damage as you channel the transfer of vitality.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
