You unleash a devastating storm of vital energy at a point you choose within range. The energy radiates out in a 40 foot-radius sphere, selectively affecting creatures of your choice.

Each creature you choose within the area must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 10d6 necrotic damage. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage.

Choose any number of other creatures you can see in the area. These creatures regain hit points equal to 3d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier.

Constructs are unaffected by the healing effect of this spell.

Blood Sacrifice. When casting this spell, you take 5d4 damage as your blood fuels the vital storm.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 and the healing increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 6th.
