You establish dominion over the blood of up to three creatures you can see within range. Each target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, you can control the flow of blood through their bodies, subjecting them to one of the following effects at the start of each of your turns:
Stagnate: The target’s speed is reduced to 0, and it has disadvantage on all attack rolls and ability checks as its blood barely moves through its body.
Boil: The target takes 3d8 fire damage as its blood heats dramatically.
Surge: The target must use its reaction, if available, to make a melee attack against a creature of your choice that it can see.
Calm: The target is incapacitated as you slow its vital processes to near stoppage.
You can select a different effect for each affected creature, and you can change the chosen effect for a creature at the start of each of your turns. Affected creatures can make a new Constitution saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on themselves on a success.
Blood Sacrifice. When casting this spell, you take 5d4 damage as your blood resonates with your targets.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 6th.
